Directions to Surf Point Foundation
Surf Point welcomes visitors for our public programs and by appointment. If you are registered for an event or program, or have a confirmed appointment, please find directions below. To support the privacy and working time of our residents, we ask that all visits to Surf Point be arranged in advance. We are not able to accommodate drop-in visitors.
The house address is 32 Surf Point Road in York, Maine. GPS should take you directly to the site; however, cell service drops during the last few miles of the drive. Please print or screenshot the directions below to ensure you have them available.
From I-95, take exit 7 to York. Take the spur road from Exit 7 toward Route 1. Take a right on Route 1 going south. At the first light, take a left to Route 1A (York Street) for 1.3 miles. Turn right onto 103 for .9 miles. Take a slight left onto Brave Boat Harbor Rd. Veer right to stay on Brave Boat Harbor Rd at the triangle. Turn left onto Raynes Neck Rd. Turn left onto Godfrey Cove Rd for 1 mile. Godfrey Cove Road turns into Surf Point Road when it meets the ocean. Drive down Surf Point Road. You will pass a horse farm on the right. After passing a sign for Rand Stables on your right, follow the road until you see an orange and black sign for Surf Point Foundation, then turn left onto the driveway to Surf Point before the road turns to dirt. Follow the Surf Point Foundation signs on the driveway to stay to the right.
