Come join us for our 14th Community Day with guest curator and artist Crystalle Lacouture ‘21 and several exciting guest speakers. The day’s events will be organized around New England’s beauty and work ethic, creative collecting, as well as alternative models for supporting art and artists. More details to be announced.
Surf Point Community Days bring people together to experience Surf Point's land and facility, learn something new, and raise awareness and funds for our residency program, land stewardship, public programs, and legacy programs.
Community Days are free and open to the public; registration is required. Address and directions to Surf Point will be shared via email in advance of the event.

About the presenters
Crystalle Lacouture ‘21
Crystalle Lacouture is an artist based in Boston and North Adams, MA. She received her BFA in Painting/Printmaking from Skidmore College in 2000. During the decade she lived in NYC, Crystalle was a longtime assistant to activist artists Nancy Spero and Leon Golub, a printmaker at the Lower East Side Printshop, and worked at the Academic Arts Agency, College Art Association. In addition to her full-time studio practice and other curatorial projects Crystalle is a curator at TOURISTS, a hotel near Mass MoCA in North Adams, MA. She exhibits her work throughout New England and New York and is represented by Beth Kantrowitz from BK Projects and Drive-By Gallery.
